I have been out of commission for a while due to having baby 6.  He's now 2 months old and I thought I would try sewing again.  So I decided about 11 a.m. to start, but then I had to take care of my 3 other lil' ones that are home right now.  After getting them fat, fed, and happy (for the next ten min ;0) I got out my sewing stuff.  Then the baby woke up.  This is around one.  This goes on for hours.  Finally! Finally!  I get the outfit that should have taken 45m-1 hour done about 7 p.m.!! Whoohoo!

It's an old pillow case from Goodwill.  I really liked the print and my dd felt pretty wearing it.

Here's her sassy pose.

Thanks for looking!

That is really sweet! Great job.

I can so relate to trying to keep kids entertained, fed, quiet and happy while trying to get a simple project done!

It's very pretty - I like the yellow pink combo.  And congrats!  Never mind your sewing skills, lets talk organizational wonder woman - how you manage to find time, despite the delay, is amazing.

So do you get the "You must be one busy lady" comments?! With my three step kids, and three kids of my own, I hear that ALL the time.

The outfit is so cute, as is the mini-model! I like the simplicity of the design... it doesn't overwhelm the busy-ness of the fabric. Plus, it looks super comfy, which is always great for little ones.

I've never been lost, but I will admit to being confused for several weeks.

Organized I am not, LOL, that's why it took 8 hours to get it done! Cheesy

I hear that and "Boy you've got your hands full." "Are those all yours?" And the best one yet was when my 9 yr old son's friend came over for the first time and asked "Whoa, is your mom a babysitter?"  LOL
It just gives me more to sew for! Grin

Very pretty!

And I thought it was hard for me to find time to sew because I have ONE 7 month old! LOL! I can imagine how busy you must be...
