Pins for my Pin Cushion

After making a coffee cup pin cushion I decided that I wanted some nice pins to go with it so I looked at my beads, did some experimenting and chose the ones I liked.  I also wanted to "jazz" up one of the pincushions without going overboard as a gift for my BF.  These are the results.  I hope you like them too.

I like the above best.




I just glued them onto pins using the e-6000 glue that I bought because of  a few members advice.  Thank you again.

Thank you so much Beatriz.  I should have posted last week but I'm still kinda hesitant to post my little projects tho I am proud of them.  They may be very easy but now I've got some cutesy pins now.lol

love it! how did you get the beads to stay on the top of the pins? super glue or something?

I used e-6000 glue to adhear the beads on.
I "dipped" the tops of the pins into the glue then put the hole of the bead through then stuck the pin into a pin cushion all the way to the top where the bead is in order to hold the bead in place while it dried.  I waited for three days cause I hurriedly made them then went on holiday but I guess that 24 hrs is enough.  I've used them already and they are pretty sturdy so far.
I tried to take an action pic but it came out as usual terrible.

Thank you Avian Flight.  I have only just started to use it and find it very good to have around.  At least it doesn't roll around like my inherited apple one. I was inspired by karin's post from her tea cup pin cushion.

Thank you craftybeachgirl and boadicea.  They were really easy to do and so appreciated when I gave them away (I did keep one).  I'm now thinking of making more out of a Turkish coffee set that I also was given as a gift.
