I was recently part of the Jim Henson swap, and I ended up crocheting a few things for my partner, including a dinosaur hooded scarf/ scoodie:

..and a Kermit doll:

No, Kermit doesn't have any legs.  Yes, his arms and hands are completely bendable!  I was pretty happy with how he came out.

In non-swap-related news, I crocheted my first pair of mittens ever:

I used Malabrigo worsted wt. merino in "Mariposa".  These make me excited for winter.

They all look terrific!  I especially love the dinosaur scoodie - did you work from a pattern?

oooo... I love the scoodie! Oh and I know how ya feel 'bout the mittens. I always start making scarves and whatnot in the summer, thinking "If I don't start now, I'll never get it done for the cold months." Then I end up finishing the project and can't wait for winter to come. I feel happy and impatient whenever I do that to myself. Wink

Hooray for animal head wear!  Your Kermit needs crutches because it appears that Doc Hopper got the best of him.  But he is still cute!  Super awesome job!

Oh, please please please post a pattern of some sort! I have tried finding other scoodie patterns but I like yours in particular because the hood is curved and not just a folded rectangle. Smiley It all looks so great!
