I reconned this tank

along with the rings from an old purse and some cheap fabric

into this purse:

The interior was originally a peach silky material with lovely flowers, but I found that it snagged on everything, so I replaced it with a more durable reinforced green cotton with brown flowers. There are also two pockets on each side of the purse.

It is a little bigger of a bag than I'm used to, but I love it!

Comments/constructive criticisms welcome!

I love it! The rings are a great touch too. Makes it look even more professional and "off the rack" you know?

Zippers are a pain too. Next time, try this tutorial. It's for a cosmetic bag but very thorough and the concept will still work with a purse and lining on a larger scale. Smiley
