Okay - This Sewbaby pattern for The Twirly Dress (F869) is about the easiest ever - you sew a slightly modified T-shirt to a paneled skirt bottom.  The T-shirt just needs some shortening and the tie attached.

Anyhoo - The bug loves this dress - I've made a few more, but this is her fave.  And it even looks good soaking wet!

Your bug is so cute! Easy to see why she likes the dress...It's cute, too! Nice job.

This is great - I love the simplicity of it. Would be a great way to "fix" some of my girls' t-shirts that have stains at the bottom or are coming unhemmed.

Very nice work.

wow, that's cute. Especially like the little tie in the back. And of course your model is adorable! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the nice replies - and yes - this is a great use for recycling T-shirts!  The pattern actually goes up to age 6, and each age/size is drawn on separate patterns (not that overlapping tangle of size lines).

Although, after doing one, you really don't need the pattern except to to avoid planning measurements - it's pretty simple.

I'll be making these for her into High school Grin

That is so cute!  I did something similar when my girl potty trained and I still had onesie t-shirts that were obsolete.
