I recently started embroidery and I absolutely LOVE it. I think I like it so much because its so easy to create something beautiful with it, especially for someone who has no artistic drawing ability (myself)... I feel like its grown-up coloring in a way, if that makes sense, haha Smiley My head has been spinning with all the ideas for future projects.

These are my completed projects so far.

First project: Tea Towel from Sublime Stitching Stitch Kit

Front:

Back:

Second Project: Free Pattern from Andrea Zuill's blog http://zuill.us/andreablog/

Love Bear..so cute!

Third Project: Hill Man from Aimee Ray's book Doodle Stitching

I'm giving this to my cousin when she moves in her new apartment

In the frame, with a little less glare:

Thanks for looking! Smiley

oh, those are glorious. You can really see how you're growing as a stitcher- did you come up with the last design yourself? The face under the tree is brilliant. You're stitches are all so neat. I am also just getting into embroidery and I agree with "grown-up coloring". Keep up the great work!

You're doing great with your stitching, and these designs are so adorable.

In the one with the tree, did you mean to have a face in the earth in front of the tree? If not it is very cool, much like a mother earth face. Smiley
