I know these have been done a million times before, but I'm a Harry Potter fan so I had to make myself some radish earrings, as modelled by Luna Lovegood.

I made the radishes from polymer clay(first time using) and attatched sterling silvers earring hooks with pliers (first time using).

They're a little heavy, but I'm really pleased with them.

This is my first "completed projects" post, so please, be nice!

They're very cute!  It's great being able to make representations of anything you want too, isn't it?  You might even be interested in checking out a Harry Potter swap (of things that might be found in a "Wizard's Pantry")... it happened a few years ago, and featured items made with polymer clay (and sometimes mixed media):

There are other Harry Potter and wizard-related clay items on this page too (just do a Ctrl + F search on the page for the word wizard):

P.S.  The long tips of your radishes are very thin, so be aware that if you use certain brands/lines of polymer clay in those situations (thin or projecting), they can easily break after baking from stress (Premo, Fimo, Kato, and Cernit would be much stronger, though you could also use the Sculpey line called Bake and Bend or mix that with some other brand).

I love these!  Exactly what I would picture Luna's earrings to look like.

Oooh, really cute!  I love that they are not exactly the same, I may just go make myself a pair right now!  For future reference, to keep the weight on things like earrings to a minimum try molding the clay around a loose, small foil ball and bake as usual...hope that's helpful Cheesy   I would love to see more like these, maybe you should try eggplant next (I know it's not HP, but I just think it would be so cute)!!!!
