Details of swap:
Its finally here! It's Fill-A-Box Canadian Style time!

For this swap we will be filling up our bubble envelopes as much as we possibly can full of craft supplies. Don't be discouraged when you see the size of the envelope, being bubble envelopes they really expand in size and can be stuffed. Feel free to use whatever you have in your stash, as well as new items if you wish! The purpose is to get rid of any unused items to make way for new supplies and ideas! This is a great swap for new swappers as you will be just sending supplies and such!

The bubble envelopes we will be using are 25.4cm x 40.6cm. You can see them on the Canada Post website here (National) and here (Regional) and they can be purchased at any post office. Be sure when you buy your envelope that you state which province you are sending to so you get the right one! You will have the option of where you want to send either within your Region or outside (National) as there is a price difference between envelope prices. Regional is $10.49+tax and National is $19.49+tax. Keep in mind that this covers shipping and the weight of your package so stuff them as full as you can because there is no extra charge no matter how heavy they get!

Canada Post defines the regions as follows:
Atlantic: Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick
Central: Quebec and Ontario (includes Northwestern Ontario postal codes P7A-K, P8N, P8T, P9A, P9N, P0T-Y)
Western: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba (includes Northwestern Ontario postal codes P7A-K, P8N, P8T, P9A, P9N, P0T-Y)
Nunavut: X0A, X0B, X0C
Northwest Territories: X0E, X0G, X1A
Yukon: all

Once you send you package you must PM both your partner and the organizer your tracking number (it will be the item number located on the label of your envelope) and please if you can take your package to the post office to have your label stamped by the postal worker. This just ensures that your package has been received and you have proof of acceptance at the post office (in case of any loss or damage).

You will have the option of sending a second envelope as long as it is a joint decision between you and your partner.

Please check in on this thread as well as with your partner at least once a week if not more. If you will have any issues with sending late please PM me and let me know. Communication is key in receiving the supplies you want in this swap.

If you want to participate, information to send to organizer (Slingmomma). Please state the swap name in the subject line:

QUESTIONNAIRE TO ANSWER:
Name of swap: Fill-A-Box Canadian Style
Craftster username:
Email address:
Your real name:
Mailing address:
Would you be willing to ship to an address outside your own REGION?
Confirm that are at least 13 years old (yes/no)

1)What types of crafts do you do?
2)What types of crafts would you like to learn?
3)What kinds of supplies are planning on including in your package?
4)Are there any specific supplies you are looking to receive?
5)Are you interested in sending and therefore receiving a second envelope?

Is there anything else you would like your partner to know (allergies or anything else)?

Hee! Finally a fill-a-box swap for Canada!  Cheesy I'll be sending me questionnaire soon. This should be super fun.

I have a question though. For the question: "5)Are you interested in sending and therefore receiving a second envelope?" does it mean both partners send two enveloppes to each other OR does it mean you get two partners and send an enveloppe to each of them? Just want to make sure.  Smiley

I think it could work either way depending on how many people sign up. If your partner says they are willing to send 2 envelopes and you say the same then you both send 2 envelopes to eachother. Make sense!  Wink If you would like a second partner let me know in your questionnaire, but all the same things apply like keeping in touch and sending tracking numbers to both partners!
