Brilliant idea! I'm not sure about the orange at the bottom. It looks more artistic, but at the same time distracts. Seems like the coat is great enough without it. But I love the coat overall -- brilliant! Thanks for sharing.

Oh that's absolutely gorgeous! I looove the idea of making your own buttons! And I agree, I like it better without the sash because the holes at the bottom are so darn cute.

How difficult was sewing a shower curtain?

I think I agree that the pink is nice at the bottom, and though if you sewed it on it would look more tailored, I like the idea of being able to change the color if you tire of it, and maybe if you sewed a couple of buttons on there you could have interchangable sashes that you just button on the end so that they don't fall off?   Either way, brilliant coat!
