Wonderful!!!  Yet another reason to visit Paris!  Looks like you all had a great time.

Since my French is severely lacking, I sent the whole page through Babelfish so I could read the captions.  Babelfish sometimes translated spinning as "slipping by"...."Sabine slips by like an arrow with Little Gem."  I love it!  Wink

I have no idea what you're talking about, so here's me with some yarn on my head.

Hi everybody ! Well, I must confess that I did spin like an arrow with Flore's Little Gem (I am that Sabine...). I was first sorry and a bit ashamed not taking my S10 to the "Pub spinning", just because the subway is a bit crowded on a saturday afternoon... but then, trying the Little Gem, well, you know... But I do love my S10 !
Spinning on the curb of a parisian boulevard was a great experience, even most people didn't dare come and talk with us. It's a pity because we are nice fiber loving people, ready to share our enthusiasm... Wink

It was nice to meet you Sabine !!!! We had a great day. Next time I will take a hat (I got a massive headache later in the evening, might be the beer though!)

I was very glad this time as I found people were very interested by our strange activity. I had a very interesting discussion with 2 guys who had studied textile at university and one works in the Petrol business and the other in very high quality lingerie  Smiley the second one wants me to bring my wheel to his R&D department and have a go at  very high tech fibers. Isn't this amazing?

I also discussed with lots of Aussies who were all linked with wool and sheep somehow. They had a go a the Little Gem and we had a good laugh.

>> mooshie, I would be glad to meet you if you ever make it to Paris!
