I was looking at an old fashioned style doll that I made and thought wouldnt it be cool to have a retro style toy swap.  This could be toys sewn from older patterns or perhaps crafted (woodmaking, knitted, crocheted ect).  You wouldnt need children really to join and you could recieve for yourself or for a special little one (or even a child in need of cheering up!!)

Anyone interested and wish to implore on the idea more??  Im thinking one large and few smalls to go with it.

This idea could be really cute to open up to things inspired by older toys as well. For example, a Mr. Potato head t-shirt, Slinky earrings..... 1960's Barbie-style accessories... etc. Cheesy

I'd also love stuff inspired by retro toys!  Etch-a-Sketch, Easy Bake Oven, Silly Putty, Play-Doh, Lincoln Logs, the possibilities are endless!

This is a very cute idea!  I like the idea of making toys from old patterns . . . or even taking old toys and turning them into something new/updated.  (thought of that twist when reading Lincoln Logs -- love them!)
