i really liked the suggestion that someone gave about adding the cheshire cat piece on to a quilt some how. i didn't end up making this with that one, but i have a few smaller stitchings the i used. i cut up 2 old blankets fleece baby blankets that i never used, and and pieced it together.im out of black floss, so i thought i'd use pink and yellow to match the patches. i know its not really quilted. but its kinda patch-work-y..maybe...its all hand sewn, so please excuse the messiness of it.

thanks for looking. Smiley

This is darling. I knew Alice would look good as a quilt, I just didn't know you'd have so many cute stitched pieces to put together for it. I don't quilt either so I'm impressed by the hand stitiching. I'm still trying to work up the nerve to try something like this myself. Good job!
