I was waiting for another challenge - but the card theme wasn't working for me...I was about to give up until I went through my children's book collection.  I love Alice in Wonderland and have several copies for my craft projects.  Inspiration hit and in my book (on stilts) Alice meets a deck of cards in danger from the Queen of Hearts!  I think Alice found a note during her adventure that said: Pick Me.

I have to thank my dad for taking the pictures.  Mine were horrible.

Thanks!

I was on a "stay at home" vacation when I made it.  I think it took me three days - with only breaks so things could dry.  I get in my craft zone and I'll keep at it until I have no more ideas or need to eat.

Thanks MarieC & Rackycoo Grin

The guy that sold me the my first antiquated copy of Alice in Wonderland would be horrified to see it all cut up and pasted all out of order.  I'm just not his kind of "collector".

I am starting to have a new appreciation of Alice.   Such great material to craft with.

Children's books make wonderful craft pojects.  I never pass up an old beat up story book at a yard sale or left outside for trash pickup.  I buy several a year at flea markets and at the library book sales.  The older the better.  Old illustrations have great character!
