So, they're far from perfect, but I'm pretty proud of these. It's the first time I knit in the round, first time I used a decrease that wasn't knit-two-together, and well, first time knit something that wasn't a square or rectangle. (I'm normally a crocheter) They're soft, cuddly and warm, great for poking around my house.

I used Claudia Hand Paints in "lipstick" on size 3 DPNS. The Pattern is Sweet Feet from Simply Knitting... it's a brittish magazine that's pretty popular with my knitting group. I forget what month it came in tho...

Pictures!

Wow, these are excellent!  Congrats!  I started a sock ... and that's as far as I got.  And I know how you feel, I'm a hell of a lot better crocheter than I am a knitter.

And yes, Simply Knitting is really nice.  I was just looking at it today at B&N.  They usually have a freebie packaged in, and this issue it's a pair of bamboo needles.  I might go back and get it tomorrow.  I get a kick out of the British lingo!
