I'm definitely in for this. I can't make it until I can get to the store this weekend. But I'll start this by Saturday!

Great job Nykole Cheesy I was hoping someone would make this in a solid color so I know how it would turn out if I try this myself.  I really like the grey you picked, the yarn looks really soft. Smiley

I've made 2 of these bags and lined them.  This is the gray one with a gray/turq/white lining - I don't know why the gray looks brown.  I added a zippered pocket on one side and pockets on the other side - used a magnetic clasp at the top.  Also I liked the texture from the seams when I joined the squares so I used that on the outside.

This is the 1st bag I made - I lined it and then trimmed the inside with a brown/white polka dot ribbon.  Also put in a pocket but didn't do a very good job of it.

I'm working on my version right now, I just need to add the straps and then line it. I made mine with only 12 squares, though, and I'm not really sure I like it... I couldn't figure out how to modify the 16 square pattern to 13. The math didn't make sense!  Tongue

you have five in the front and five in the back and one on each of the two sides and bottom.  does that help?

I think I got confused by looking at the pattern that's posted with 16 squares and trying to translate it to 13. It's all put together now, but thanks! I'll probably be making another one at some point, it's a good pattern.
