couldn't decide if this goes here or under Halloween. Feel free to move it.

Ok so last night/midnight today the new Batman movie came out. My boyfriend is a cashier at the theater around here and Cinemark let the employees dress up as the Joker. We found out that they could dress up about a week ago so I've had some good time to make his costume.

These are pictures from the dress rehearsal (to see how long it would take to get ready)
He's wearing cream makeup, my eye smudge, and my red lipstick. Oh, and yellow and green hair color spray. We switched from yellow to gold, which looked way more realistic.

We went to Goodwill and bought the following: a tacky patterned blue dress shirt, a light colored suit vest, a light gray suit coat, a long light olive  womans trench coat, navy pinstriped pants, and a green necktie. Then we went to the fabric store and bought a bunch of dye.
I dyed each piece. Colors came out funky. Some things didn't take the dye. Redyed the funky things. Spray painted the vest that rejected color.

Oh! and hes on the news, tall guy lurking in the background.

That is so awesome! It's the best Joker costume I've seen... and there have been quite a few! I saw that story on the news (I'm a Clevelander  Wink), and I was so jealous of those movie goers. I'm still waiting to see it for myself  Cry Anyway, nice work!

THAT IS SO FREAKING SWEET. This is coming from a girl with an unhealthy obsession of The Joker (Went to Dark Knight just for that villian) lol
