I wasn't sure which section to put this in, so I hope this'll do!  I decided to combine low-water immersion dyeing using Procion MX dyes with stenciling to make a couple of shirts. My friend's got a yellow lab retriever that my son just adores, so I made them (the friend and the son -- not the dog!) "Mookie" shirts for Valentine's Day.

And here's a shirt I made with the kid himself on it, for his dad:

Thank you so much for the kind words! These pictures are actually really crappy, because I cut then down to size in MS's photo editor rather than using Photoshop, and because they get shrunk down on the boards here. In the future, I'll do a better job showing stuff, but the dyes came out really well on these things.

Great shirts! By a complete coincidence, I was just about to try this too. I've done Procion tye-dyeing for shirts, and low-immersion dyeing of fabric before, so I was going to try the low-immersion dyeing on a t-shirt for my son, and I have a lizard stencil cut out ready to stencil over the top! I'll try and post pics when I'm done Smiley
