I was recently in the No Paper Allowed ATC Swap hosted by the lovely crafty_dame! This was my second time making ATCs so I was a little nervous, but after making them, I believe I'm addicted! So I decided to start a gallery to make myself do more. I would really love feedback.

So far three out of four of my partners have received so I'll go ahead and post those three first and then the other later. I made them all with felt and embroidery thread, with two of them having flute beads added.

The Lovers - I love tarot cards and have always wanted to illustrate my own deck. I've had the main design of this card (the lovers intertwined forming a heart) floating around in my head for years now. It was great getting to express an illustration through sewing, something I'm excited to keep trying. I kept a few of the traditional symbols in it, including the number of the card (VI or six) and a garden (which represents love being "the impulse to drive us out of the garden and into adulthood").

Dot Dot Dot - I love dots, even the word "dot", so I thought I would dedicate an ATC to them Smiley I really like how this color combination came together.

Rose - One of my favorite flowers AND my favorite Golden Girl Wink I love colors with offset printing on top of them like in old magazines, so that's kind of what I was trying to go with here.

Thanks for the sweet comments Smiley

My last partner received, so here's my other no-paper ATC:

The High Priestess - I get this card drawn for me more than any others so I had to make one for her Smiley You can read more about this card and its symbolism here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_High_Priestess. I wish I had time to put the columns in the background. Oh and sorry if the "cleavage" is cheesy, she looked too young without it Cheesy

Two more efforts, these are from the J, K, L ATC Swap...

"L" is for "Leaves"

"K" is for "Khaki"

I wish I had your patience, Ma Rut.  I get bored after about 15 minutes of doing any one thing.  I wish I didn't... maybe I have ADD or something.  Haha.

They are really lovely!  I love the Dots (I love dots too!) and the Lovers the best.  But they are all fantastic.

These are amazing. I don't have those kind of skillz, yo.  Wink I think my faves are the high priestess and her cleavage, and the dots.

I had to go back and check the cleavage after seeing this post.  Cheesy
Anyway, these are all rather impressive! Well done!
