I love your dress and it looks like it fits you perfectly!

By the way, I couldn't help but notice how your shelves are all color coded....is that you being well-organized, or?  I guess I'm jealous of how neat it looks!

hehe, thanks. and yes, my shelves are colour-coded -- an interior design post is forthcoming, haha.

That is a perfect dress for a summer wedding.  A sash would work.  Also I was thinking that maybe a nice strand of pearls or some kind of necklace would add a little something to the top.  The dress is very flattering on your cute figure.  The only other suggestion I have is to gently iron the seams to give it a finished look.

Great job.

I think add a black sash and perhaps if you can, do some black flowers printed or embroidered on the skirt part.  I saw a quite similar yellow dress with a black sash the other day and it's on my list of things to make...

That dress is so pretty! I agree with these guys, I think some sort of different colored sash would look fantastic

i think it's a cute dress. i love the simplicity of it. i just wish you would've chosen a better fabric, it looks a little cheap. and also, the puckering on the bodice. i wasn't sure if it was sewn or you had just basted it. work on the construction of it.

wow voldemort was a bit rude i hope that wasnt her intention. as you said it still needs a final press im sure it will smooth out after that. i still think its great and cant wait for action shots after the wedding. once again great work.

Yeah I'm thinking that was harsh too.

Very cute. Add a belt and some funky jewelry.
