Ahh!!  I love your quilt!  I really need to get back into making them but I don't have a sturdy enough table for my machine I use to quilt Cry

For the technique in the video, that's meandering.  Stippling is a lot smaller but the same concept.

Just beautiful! I love the entire thing, the design, the colors, the quilting, the backing, EVERYTHING! Just wonderful!

I love your quilt, especially the way you did the back.

This is exquisite. I am curious about the technique you used to quilt it? I am planing on making my first quilt soon and I love that look.

Thanks so much everyone for your kind kind words about the quilt!

As for how I quilted, it, I did meandering (thanks suganspyyce for the correct term!) free motion quilting.  On my normal sewing machine with the darning foot on and feed dogs down.  There's a great conversation with tips and the like here:

It was scary for me the first time - but with practice it gets easier and I now LOVE this step of the process!

I absolutely adore this quilt! Its so simple, and yet so beautiful- perfect for a baby.

I still have the quilt my grandmother gave me as an infant- and I'll treasure it forever!
