This started out as a swatch for a lace pattern- I think it was from the Yoga Bag in one on the SnB books- and I liked it so much that I ended up knitting a top for it, and crocheting the edgings and the ties, and flowers on the ties.  The back has a corset- tie- thing going on, but its hard to tell w/ the pics I have  Undecided  I'll try and add some more pics when I can.  The top part, or the "bra" part is knitted, then I just crochet edgings, and made crocheted ties until it fit just right.  Since I made it up as  I went along, there's no pattern for it.  Thanx 4 looking!  Smiley

That's awesome.
I love when knitting just organically happens, and grows as you go along.

I would love to see pics of you wearing it.

Beautiful! I love the color and the lacey effect. Good work! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the feedback.  I have pics of me wearing it out somewhere, but I can't find em.  I wore it the other day w/ a really thin cotton shirt on underneath cuz the lacey tummy area is very lacey and I have not yet gotten my belly back in shape enough to want it showin'.  Wink   Cotton's cool cuz its so stretch-y, you can really re-shape it well and emphasize the length or width if you want.
