This is my first shawl made as a gift to a friend. I said I wouldn't buy anymore novelty yarn until I used what I had-- I lied. I bought a boatload more for this piece. I love the way it turned out and am so happy that my friend can't wait to wear it. Link to the pattern and more details on my craft blog.

VERY PRETTY! I can see why your friend would be happy to get it~ wonderful job Smiley ...ok, off to check out the craft blog!

Exodus 35:35 (NIV)~ He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers - all of them skilled workers and designers

It's cute!  The colors work really nice together.  The yarn actually looks really neat made into a shawl.
