I came to this board to report the Florida ad too - glad i'm not the only one who finds it extremely annoying. It makes it impossible for me to choose a community.

Ditto on the Florida ad.  It was a particular problem when I was trying to access the "Home Community ..." ruler.  The ad was on top of the pull down menu!

Ditto that -- it expanded itself just as I clicked on a thread, and blam-o off it went to a new screen...

Whenever I hover over "My Craftster" or "Community", the ad that is underneath is always over top of the links so I can't get to a bunch of them. Does anybody else have this problem? Is there a way to fix it?

The "Visit Florida" ad is driving me crazy! It completely blocks the links to all the forums under the "community" tab. It took multiple tries and I had to move my mouse very deliberately and strategically just to get to this board to complain about it.

I actually came to say that the "owlbot" banner ad is a broken link. It sends you to a craftster page that doesn't exist rather than owlbot.etsy.com which I'm guessing is where it's supposed to go. I wound up finding the page, but the link should probably be fixed anyway.

...AND THEN!... you all reminded me about the annoyingness that is the Florida ad. The issue isn't that it's not crafty, it's that it is layered over the dropdown menus rather than beneath.

I can still get to my bookmarks by clicking "replies to your posts", but I shouldn't *have* to do that, ya know? Wink

This isn't a google ad...but I've noticed lately that right under the tape measure bar with "Home, Community, etc" on it, there is an ad to visit Florida. This particular ad opens up to 2-3 times its normal size without any prompting. This causes me to often click on the ad and accidentally go to their site. Ever since this particular ad has been showing up, my browser also frequently crashes. Is anyone else having this problem? I actually like many of the ads on the site and have purchased things through sites. It just seems to be this one particular and intrusive ad. Sad

Ok, the owlbot link is fixed. Smiley

The Florida ad, I swear we're working on, it's just a little trickier to deal with than first thought.
