Everything looks really great so far. I'm still waiting on mine to get here... all depends how long it takes to get through customs in Canada.

Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein.

Wow - such nice, creative interpretation of their partner's choices!

My partner and I are patiently waiting for our parcels to and from Canada.  I think it is faster to send to Europe!

That is one amazing watering can! I love the button bracelet too. It's all great.

I'm a little worried about the where-abouts of the parcel I sent to Myrna Minx. The guy at the post office said 4 days! Well it has certainly been a lot longer than that.  Huh

I really what to see what Myrna Minx thinks. Seeing everyone elses packages has helped me through  Wink

Sorry Erin! I received the day before yesterday! I let the organizer know, and then forgot to tell you. I have temporarily lost my camera, so I haven't posted pics yet. The items are really great, 2 gorgeous ones and 1 hilarious one! That pincushion is really fun!
If I can't find the camera today (i'm really annoyed, I just was using it last week) I'll take some with my cell phone camera - but they won't be very good so I'm hoping it will turn up.

Phew, I was really worried. I hope you really did like them. I took pictures (with my new fancy camera) if you want me to post those. Usually with me the thing I've lost turns up the moment I no longer need it.

My parcel arrive today- with a big chunk out of it  Angry I'm really tempted to contact Royal Mail and complain but I think they will say it happened before it arrived here. Thankfully all my goodies are okay, although the bag was covered in paper bits from the envelope stuffing.

Thank you Amy!
As you'll see from the pictures Myrna Minx made it extremely difficult for herself by making all three items, purple, triangular and velvety. How tough was that?

A view of the funky lining

A pouch with beads in

and earrings

Thank you ever so much. They're great.

Oh, I hope that was by choice and not because of a misunderstanding!

We had someone in the last round who thought that all 3 items had to fit all the categories, until I explained to her that one item had to be the color, one item the shape and one item the texture.

I got my package from Quail today and she spoiled me rotten!!

First, you have the whole package out of the bubble envelope. I was really afraid something might have broken in shipping because the envelope was wet on one side and smelled of perfume, but nothing to worry about it turns out. She put her note in the most awesome envelope with goldfish on it.

First I unwrapped my color, Deep Blue. Quail made a really awesome 'triangular' zippered pouch. When I opened it up, what do I find but a baby zipped pouch! It's like me and mini me, but in zippered pouch goodness. The color of the fabric is actually a tiny bit darker than the picture shows.

For my spiral, Quail made an awesome set of spiral earrings. I was thinking of making a new pair to wear to work tomorrow, but now I've got some even cooler ones that I could have come up with to show off.

Finally, I turned over a lovely box with goldfish on the cover (anyone seeing a pattern yet?). Inside the box I found another goldfish collaged on the inside cover, and my final smooth (texture) item, a smooth goldfish necklace.

So as you can all see, Quail really spoiled me. I had a great time with this swap and will have to try to join any future ones that might pop up.
