Such gorgeous dotees, MaRut and Tygir! Love the embroidered details.

Here are the two precious dotees I have received so far.  I apologize to Lmcbride and TAOJ for the delay in posting them, but I just got my new computer set up.

First, here is Queen Etoile of Cape Breton Island, my sweet striped gal from TAOJ.  I love that little lace crown.

And next there is the disputed "disturbing" dotee from Lmcbride.  I think she is such a sweet tiny thing.  She has the cutest little Asian child face, a lovely feather hat and is all decked out in such happy colours!

Sorry the pics came out sideways - I swear I took them rightside up, but they came out this way, and I just didnt have the time to right them.
I love them both, and have them on display in my new craft area.
I cant wait to see what everyone else has done, and for my dotees to be received. (they hit the post tomorrow!).

Totally cute! And I don't think the second one is disturbing looking at all!

And, I am closer and closer to finishing. I'm learning a bunch as I go! I had to re-learn how to blanket stitch, for starters...

I thought maybe today I'd get my dotee from Berta Berta, but alas I think the mailman has forget how to come to my house.  Cry Either that or I just don't have any mail today  Cheesy
I checked the DC# and it says on the 12th it was in Moblie, Alabama.
I'll be waiting at the mail box tomorrow to mug the post man. LOL  Cheesy

After checking the dc# yesterday and being totally alarmed that it said my little doll was lost in Mobile Alabama, far from me, I was surprised to find this little treasure in my mailbox this morning. I'd like to know how the DC# was scanned  Roll Eyes
Anyway here is a tiny leaf in the wind.

I love it. Thanks Berta Berta!

And it STILL shows as being in Mobile on the USPS tracking site.  I've checked and double checked that I'm entering the right DC number, but I am - it's printed right here...

So bizarre!  But I'm really glad she's not lost Smiley
