I made these using a ball of Lionbrand's new Sock-Ease. They were my first pair so I went for a super easy pattern. I usually knit using size 8 or larger needles, so OMG the size 1 needles were TINY! I cast on during the first day of Wimbledon and had them done and washed before the finals.

Needles: Size 1 DPNs
Yarn: Lionbrand Sock-Ease in Red Hots
Pattern: Yarn Harlot's Easy Sock Recipe

 Shocked Oh. Em. Gee.

Those are GORGEOUS! I simply LURVE the colors! I must learn to knit now. Those are so awesome!

Grin They look better than those striped hiking socks you see in stores for twenty-something dollars!

I'm way impressed.

Thanks everyone!

riverwatson - You're too kind. Smiley And, you should definitely learn to knit! It's fun, and relaxing, and you can make great handmade gifts.

If all our life is but a dream, fantastic posing greed
Then we should feed our jewelry to the sea
For diamonds do appear to be
Just like broken glass to me.
