Yesterday was the past. Tomorrow is the future. Today is a gift -- that's why it's called the present.

You did a great job on your pillow! I'm very proud of you and all of the effort you're putting into learning how to sew. It's a whole lot of fun for me to have someone else learning right along with me and it's even more fun for me to have someone to shop with me! Wink I'm so glad we've finally found a hobby that we both enjoy!

Again, wonderful job!  Smiley

Love, Your Mom

Great Job! Love the color!

When I first started sewing my mom taught me to do pillows and I STILL love to do pillows!

Good luck on your sewing adventures!

Blondie appears to be very proud of you too!

I was off to save the world....until I was distracted by something shiny.

Your pillow is fantastic, and Blondie is doing a good job of showing it off.

Your pillow looks nice, great start!  My mom was a costume designer, so I got my start sewing buttons, cutting patterns, and serging around leaves and feather-type things.  My first real solitary project was her forcing me to make my own bedroom curtains when I wanted new ones.  God I hated doing that at the time, but now I sew everything for my house, my coworkers' uniforms (I'm in the military), and my husband and my reenactment hobby.  It's so useful, so always appreciate those family sewing projects!  Wink
