Yay! First pictures!
Okay, I have to first say that these pictures truly do not do these items justice, and that sucks, because everything is beautiful.
First, here's an action shot:

(She wasn't a fan of this picture

) The shawl is gorgeous, and so soft. It's a lacy garter stitch triangle, very elegant. She and my dad took a trip to Branson this weekend (oh, the high life!

) and the shawl went too, so pictures had to wait. She really likes it.
Also in the action shot is the bookmark. It's hard to see because it's busy marking the book.

Here it is with a tiny knit pumpkin, which immediately became her new pincushion.
I tried to get another shot of the bookmark, but you can't see it that well. It's a beautiful lace pattern on what had to be some of the smallest needles ever. My mom is constantly reading, so it's already getting a lot of use.

And the slippers!

I love these! The buttons are hearts. And littlebluegirl, they fit her perfectly. Even though it's extremely hot here right now, their house is pretty cold, so they're also going to immediate use.
And in case you're wondering, they work better than socks for kitchen-floor sliding. Oh yes. Oh yes I did.
There was also a cute little jar full (I mean FULL) of little buttons, dog stickers, and various project knick-knacks. A picture wasn't possible, because some of the contents have already found their way into some projects!
She also hand-made the nicest card. It's so sweet--thank you! (She's needs to be reminded how awesome I am every once in a while

)
My mom loves everything. Thank you littlebluegirl!
