I made this for my partner in the 50's B-Movie Swap. She received her package today, so I figured it's finally safe to post. Smiley

The image is based on one from a set of tattoo flash. My camera didn't pick it up very well, but her skin is a pale bluish-green with some shading around the clavicles, nose, etc. I used crayons to tint the lighter parts (that's all the rage these days, huh?), and marker for some of the darker stuff like her hair. Everything is done in backstitch, except her eyes, which are done in split stitch and her lips, in satin stitch. I searched for weeks for an oval-shaped frame, and finally found one that was the perfect size. I kind of dig how her eyes wound up looking bruised and bloodshot.

Thanks for looking!

This is too cool for words. I really, really love this. The old monster movies are my faves.

This is super great.  Are her iris' of her eyes crayon tinted or stitched?  I can't tell.  You did a great job with her... I'm impressed, and absolutely love the subject matter.  I was the Bride of the Monster of Dr. Frankenstein for Halloween in college, this brings me back... dig it.

Human rights are for EVERYONE.  Did you know that Aung San Suu Kyi had been released from house arrest in Burma? Many other prisoners of conscience are still being detained.  Please research this topic... Amnesty International needs your help.
