This was this ugly tequila box that I had gotten a few years back...So it's been sitting around collecting dust. So I ripped out this ugly red velvet and had fun trying to get all the glue out, and sanded all surfaces.

Then I painted it all black, and put a Ciruelo print, "Hobswyllin, The Guardian" on the front, and put eleventy billion coats of polycrylic on the top..

After that, I wrapped cardboard in fabric, using that double sided tacky craft tape, and E-6000 to adhere the cardboard to the insides.  I did purple on the bottom of the box, blue "starry night" on the inside top, and black fabric on the sides of the bottom.

Anyways, I hope you guys like it as much as I do...I absolutely love that print!

Thank you everyone..I'm glad you all like it!  I was really unsure how it would turn out at first because I was going to leave the red velvet..Then I thought, nah, dragons can't live in red velvet caves.  lol..anyways, thanks again!

Really beautiful! Are you keeping it or is some lucky person going to receive it as a gift?
