Ok, You see I have a cute pair of boots, which I bought very cheaply ($10). But once they got home they began suffering. Every time I rub my finger over them, they start scraping off. I believe it's made from synthetic leather, or something like it. They look really bad now. Since they're black I tried painting the missing spots with a permanent marker, but it was useless, since it still comes off, ad you can reallyu notice where it was painted again. I was wondering if anyone knows how to 'dress them up', or how to put another fabric over it, or I don't know. Anything!!

Can anyone help me? Huh

I've got a really cool idea that my friend did once.

Take words from magazines and put them all over the boots, then add decoupage over them... and they'll look like rain boots. Smiley

Try using some (I'm not entirely sure what it's called in English...) shoe cream, it should at least prolong the life of your shoes when you wear them outdoors.  Just make sure it's okay to use on synthetic materials, as some leather cream/oil will ruin your synthetic shoes!  Then you could try to cover up the scratches with a shoe cream that's the same color as your boots. Good luck!
