I had this really icky desk from the thrift shop and it made me sad to look at, so I fixed it up all pretty. I even kinda fixed the wobbly on it.

Excuse the mess. That was my painting room.

In its proper place.

Hey, that looks wonderful! What sort of glue/adhesive did you use? I'd love to try the technique on an old bookshelf of mine.

Well, I had it printed on cardstock and I stuck it in place with this spray adhesive that I had from another project. I don't know if it was because the glue was kinda old (like 6 months), but it kinda sucked. It seemed much more sticky than the first time I used it. But I finally got it situated and just washed my hands a lot Cheesy. Then I coated the whole top of the desk with several coats of Mod Podge. I'm thinking about putting a piece of glass over the top of it because I'm worried about it getting stained.

It may be lack of sleep, because I do know what rasterbation is lol as I have some images waiting to find a place in my house, but did you do a banana and a sausage?  because it's what I see and that made the rasterbation bit so much funnier to me.  I absolutely love it even if it is my gutterbrain making things up Smiley

If the wobbly of it comes back, try gorilla glue, it's awesome for fixing wobbly and keeping it from coming back. Smiley

Haha, it's Warhol's "Banana".

I've had the poster of it for a couple of year, but I was trying to make my room still have the picture since I love it, but look less college student-y. My boyfriend has always claimed the poster looks like a banana and a hotdog, so you aren't alone.
