Summer Reading Swap Gallery

Elensule asked me to post the stuff I sent her, since she is having camera issues, so here it is.

Firstly, one of those bedside book pocket thingies, which I'd never heard of until someone suggested it for the swap - now I'm going to have to make myself one! Also, this one is double-sided!


Next, a pair of earrings. They are puzzle pieces because she likes mysteries, get it?


The craft I was most proud of - a bookmark with a cross-stitched celtic cross, for her highland romance novels!

this is off-topic, but i had a wonderful experience at the post office today. there was someone in the lobby who personally assisted me! at the post office! and then the person behind the counter weighed my package and told me that a non-flat-rate box would be less expensive than the flat-rate box. and this was in a busy, downtown san francisco location! i have never had such helpful service at the post office - it's usually a terrible experience where i can never get assistance. i just had to share. thanks for humoring me.

that said, i third (fourth?) the anxiety of waiting for my partner to receive. especially since this is my first swap! eeeeeee!

So I got my package from riario when I came back from my crazy, last-minute roadtrip with my sister. It was pretty awesome! I can't wait to dig into these books!
