aquamarine007, i'm so glad you liked everything! The button skull on the bag was so fun and i got the idea here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=243213.msg2684518;topicseen#msg2684518
I am sorry about the mug. what a bummer. i even had the postal lady stamp "FRAGILE" on ever side of the package. grrrr. well, the mug cozy should fit just about any mug. I liked the one i sent you cause you could see the pattern on the inside of the mug and i thought it looked cool...

Captjaneway, I'm so glad you liked everything, I was really hoping you would given that you (and hngoodlet) pulled my first swap out of the cr@pper! Please thank your sister for her wonderful contribution - now it means that the books that I'm reading simultaneously in my sitting room and my bedroom can have bookmarks instead of getting all dog-eared  by me turning down the corners of pages.

So on to the loot, I got spoiled - big time. First the whole lot together

Next the great books, none of which I have read.

Now the bookmarks made by captjaneway's sister

Also in that picture was a small decoupaged box that had all these little magnets in it

pardon the picture of the apparently mutant baby- there were lots of reflections going on - he is very cute in real life!

Now the cutest little pillow with a very valuable warning!

Why am I crafting?

Back

My therapist told me to if I ever felt like killing someone again. Any more Questions?

And last but not least a 'crafty like a fox' tote based on one on my wist.

Thanks again captjaneway and thanks hngoodlet for arranging a great swap.

I think you should live each day as if it is your last. Thats why I don't have any clean laundry, because, lets face it, who wants to wash clothes on the last day of their life?

Deisels_Mom has received and asked me to post pictures since her camera has disappeared, so here you go.

Only thing is, I didn't get pictures of the books I sent, so have some Amazon links instead!:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/0061057819/   '48 by James Herbert
http://www.amazon.com/dp/0345447840/   The Surgeon by Tess Gerritsen

A bracelet that actually says 'Mars <3 Books' on it, but it's kinda hard to see from the photo. Sad

A bookmark that I covered in book pages (don't worry, it was a book that was free with the newspaper last Christmas and I already had a copy!) and on the back wrote a Groucho Marx quote.

A tiny little polymer clay book. Smiley Totally useless. Tongue

I haven't heard of this....  what is the Dark Tower Series?  sounds like I've been missing some fun!

The Dark Tower Series is a series of 7 books written by Stephen King. If you like urban sci-fi/fantasy or books about alternate universes, you should check it out. The first book is called "The Gunslinger".

And if you do end up liking the series, you should try The Stand and The Talisman- also by Stephen King

The series is quite post-apocalyptic too, and if you read other Stephen King, chances are you'll see his other books referenced. And The Talisman is probably my favorite book ever.

Also, is there a tutorial anywhere for the tea wallet?

I loved The Talisman as well! I have a copy (picked up at the library book sale) of The Black House which is the sequel.  Also very good!

And, though I made a tea wallet for my sister for Christmas, I don't know where I put my measurements. I couldn't find a tutorial, so I winged it...

And back on crafts... Love the pillow and tote bag! And, the bookmarks made by little sis are just too cute! Cute little polyclay book (but I don't get the Mars reference on the book and bracelet...)!

The Stand scared the heebie jeebies outta me. I read so many different kinds of books, but scary is not awesome. I get scared to easy!
I love the Crafty like a Fox tote. And that Groucho Marx quote!
This is a great swap.

Okay, tatteredspider received a few days ago but is having trouble putting up pictures, so I'm putting them up =)

She asked for a book bag.

It looks like a book...

But not when it's opened =P =D

A book thong

And the books

'Blackwood Farm' by Anne Rice  and
'The Bad Place' by Dean R Kootz

It was a lot of fun making it, but the hollow book was hard work, but I was really happy with the end result. Hope you like it tatteredspider. =)
