Okay, pictures are here! UntouchableFace sent the the coolest package ever!

First off, the coolest envelope made from a calendar and (I think) homemade paper. So cool!

Books!

Good Omens-Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett
A Sand County Almanac-Aldo Leopold
The Infiltrator-Harmon Leon (This looks hilarious!)
The Gunslinger Vol. 1-Stephen King (Awesome! I found Vols. 2 and 3 at the thrift and am so glad you sent this one!)
Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove-Christopher Moore
The Reivers-Faulkner
The Know-It-All-A.J. Jacobs (Woot!)
Player Piano-Vonnegut (Yay Vonnegut!)

Super cool bookmark!

Totebag with lovely fabric.

Lining/other side of tote. Totally carrying this tomorrow.

And my favorite thing!
A handmade stamp with my initials! I'm gonna be stamping my initials on everything!

Yea!! I am so glad that you like everything hngoodlett!! It was so much fun crafting for you, and your tastes in books were so similar to mine that it was easy to find books for you. Now, narrowing it down to the ones I sent... that's another story.  Grin

I received my package from hngoodlett this week too!! I love everything so much!!

First we have the coolest book plates in the world!! Who doesn't love rabid gnomes?? Mmmm bloody....

Next is an awesome embroidered tote bag and an art piece made of recycled magazines. I love the seven tentacled octopus- he is so cute  Cheesy

Finally, we have the books:
The world according to Garp by John Irving
Mother Night by Kurt Vonnegut
The Color of Magic by Terry Pratchett
The Light Fantastic by Terry Pratchett

And the book that made me do a happy dance around my house, I have been meaning to buy this book for a while, and now I am happy that I didn't. I am a This American Life junkie, and David Sedaris is one of my favorites!!!!

When you are engulfed in Flames by David Sedaris.

Thank you hngoodlett!!!! I can't wait to read all of my new books!!

More awesome books! Okay, I really do need to go back and make a list of them all...

Love the stamp, tote and bookmark! And, the octopus is adorable! I really do need to dig out my embroidery supplies... and re-learn how to do it Wink

Yay, I'm glad you didn't think Sherman the Septoptapus was silly. (Try saying that five times fast  Cheesy) Also, I was going to bloody the other gnomes, but then I couldn't decide if it looked good, so I didn't. But it looks good in the picture. Maybe it was a have to look back at it thing.

everything on here has been so cute. the bookplates with the gnomes are genius! and that tote bag is really well done. great fabric! i'm also a big fan of the initials stamp.

thanks for the compliments on my own stamps. i hadn't played around with them in years and now i have all sorts of ideas!

i like the idea of another reading swap, though what about a bookplate swap? something like the rubber stamp swap: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=254245.0;topicseen where we could create, say, three stamps or linocuts, send to different people and get three in return. that would be cool!
