My friend and I saw these necklaces in a store and were smitten by them but too broke to pay $88! We went to the bead store and bought 14mm glass pearls and bought the diamond pendants from an antique store that sold chandalier (sp?) pieces.  They came out so cute and now we're making bracelets to match! The ones in the store had charms of things like the Eiffel tower and stuff but I haven't found one I liked yet.

I love this necklace!  It would really dress up jeans and a t-shirt!

I LOVE it too, but when buying the chandelier crystal, make sure that it is glass, or at least not LEAD crystal - this would be dangerous if worn against the skin.

I am sorry this doesn't make sense to me.  Apparently all crystal beads contain lead see this article: http://www.arizonabeadcompany.com/crystal_info.html

So, that being said - are the crystal chandelier pieces that dangerous?

Morgan

P.S. - I am not trying to argue, just clarify because I have several chandelier pieces I was hoping to use for jewelry
