I just got done with this and I love it!! My sons do too!! I haven't done applique before b/c it looked intimidating but then I had the idea for this and Had to try it!
The strings ended up unevenly spaced... but it works.

My supervisor who plays bass would say that t-shirt is GROOVY! Such a wonderful idea... maybe I could make him something like that for Xmas.  Grin Great execution, the buttons add a nice dimension. Silver or wooden buttons could be added at the top for the tuning heads... Ooh and maybe some black or silver rick rack as the coil for the input jack!  Cheesy

I ahd tried tot hink of ways to make the tuning knobs and all that jazz but decided to go for a more simply design.... since i always try and overdo stuff, and usually i end up messing it up. Thanks though really everyone!!
