Excellent job and I love the black and white. Your embroidery is fabulous too!

Congratulations on finding closure within yourself and having the kindness and generosity to donate such a special item. Not only are you raising awareness, you are sharing the story of a survivour.

What an amazing quilt, but the real beauty is the thought and love behind it. Loving ourselves is a hard thing, but it is obvious your capacity for love is huge. What a strong person you to share such a deeply personal story.  Smiley

Thank you everyone for your extremely kind comments. This piece was very special to me and I'm glad other people think it's special too. It's pretty simple compared to some of the other quilt's I've seen on Craftster but it hold a very special place in my heart. So thanks again for all the kind word of encouragement too!

Great job!   I don't know why life has to be so painful, but I'm glad that you found your closure with making this quilt.  God gives us talent for a reason, and I think you have a great talent!! You also have a big heart and lots of compassion for others!  Great job!!

This is a beautiful quilt and the back-story makes it more poignant.  Thanks for sharing both with us.
