So yesterday I was wearing my husband's favorite pair of pj pants  (I think he's had them for 6 years now) and I accidently ripped them at the knee.  I think he's a little crushed and I feel guilty.  I'd like to make something with the detached leg piece, but I don't know what.  The leg is about a foot tall.  Did I mention that they're an awesome penguin print?

Suggestions are appreciated!

umm, turn it into a pillow. Or find some a contrasting fabric for a lining and straps and make a little tote bag. Oo- you could make the little bag and fill it with things he likes for him.

I have a travel toiletries case which I love in a similar fabric (from old navy). Or you could make a wallet or something. Though not sure if he'd use a red wallet with penguins on it  Grin . Or frame it...use it as a matte and put a picture of you two in it, maybe one from winter where your both cold.  Cheesy  Kind of silly, I know....Pillows are always great, too. and I like the idea of a tote filled with stuff he likes. Good luck crafting!

AWW... poor guy I know the loss of a favorite clothes item, I lost my Mickey Tee not too long ago. Cry

I would make him a heart shaped pillow and give it to him after making his favorite meal.
