I am pleased to introduce to you Fernel, a forest fairy.

She has a fully needle sculpted face including glass eyes and eyelids. She is jointed at the hips and knees allowing her to sit (or stand if in a doll stand).

She is holding a walking stick in one hand with a rather large flower on the end and in the other hand she is holding a very delicate flower. She also has delicate forest green wings with seed bead detail.

I had fun experimenting with dye as well for her "hair" and the foliage on the flower walking stick.

I shall be teaching here at a class in Aberdeen, Scotland, over 2 Saturday's in August.

Some closer shots:

Sorry the pictures aren't great - I just couldn't get good lighting and I needed to get the doll out of the door that afternoon.

Also sorry if she is in the wrong category - wasn't sure where I should post this.

She's lovely, and I think this is the right place to put her.

Thanks guys.  She is my first doll so she is by no means perfect but its a good starting ground to build on.
