Here it is! All finished - I was up until 1:30 last night trying to get it done. She loves it. Thanks for everyone's help, this was a fun project (I posted a question about this a few weeks ago). I ended up getting the fabric at Joann's. It's not the same as the real Giselle's, but is the right color and has a lot of texture. I gave up looking for the perfect fabric after checking two huge stores and coming up with nothing better than this!

Our dress:


I used Simplicity 3771 for the top and McCalls 4285 for the dress, with a few modifications like splitting the front for the overdress.

I love this take on the dress.  I bet disney will be knocking on your door to ask how you made it.  I can think of several under 10yr niece's of mine who'd love that!
