So I finally finished this dress that I had been working on forever. Unfortunately, when I started working on it, I was fatter. And I think that the pattern just runs large. Fast forward a couple months, and I have a very stylish tent. I'm happy with how it turned out as far as it being really well made (Mom helped) but I need to go back and do some serious adjusting. Maybe make the skirt stick out less, take in the back darts, and add some front ones.

I think it look really great! I don't know where you are from, but here in the UK tent dresses are fashinable. Just put a pretty belt round the waist to give it some shape! Smiley Might save you the pain of altering it!

I like it when I wake up in the mornings and my first thought is "what can I make today?"

I have that same fabric and all I could think of to do with it was make a bag. I wasn't een thinking a dress. Great job!

Thanks! I think most of the real largeness is more visible from the back.
And incidentally, a bag was my second thought. I'm going to use some of the remnant to make a no cash wallet from Bend the Rules sewing.

Cute! I'm about to try this pattern out for myself and I haven't really used patterns before so I'm a little nervous, but I hope it turns out as well as yours.  Smiley
