Okay, I don't really have spare time, I just create a lot of unfilled time while not doing the schoolwork I should be doing.

I wanted to play a bit with my beads, and redo my braid, so this turned up

the img is kinda tiny because of craftster, you know. But if your resolution isn't as horridbly detailed as mine, you might be able to see something Smiley

I was beginning to think no one would reply on this one ^^

First of all I always keep my hair wet while braiding, or it'll get away from me (I've got very silky hair and it doesn't like me controlling it) Second, I use crocheting needles Grin It was still kinda hard, but while my hair was wet, I found I only needed the needle to grab a little bit of my hair, and the rest would follow in a tangled sort of way. But now I figured out that it would be so much easier if I just used a common needle and put a ribbon through it twice, like through side 1 and back through the exiting side (2), letting the ribbon form a loop. And then put the strand of hair through that loop like an enlarged, dangly needle of its own, and work it through the bead that way. It would have saved quite some time had I thought of that before ^^

I did get rasta braids all over my head two years ago. I went to an african hair salon, and man are they violent with your hair! It hurt like hell. But I've noticed that you have to do that for curly hair, so it seems like they just keep it up that way Wink
My hair goes down to my thighs, so for me it took about eight hours per day over two days for my entire head to get covered. But then I only had one person working on me. A friend of mine had hair to her shoulders, and with two people working on her at the same time it took five hours.
