Hi, I'm Lauren, and I was born on the 6th in '82. I live in Portland, OR and am quite enjoying this extended summer we're having.  To get a taste of me, you can check out my blog at http://blog.laupre.com, or my wists at http://wists.com/LauPre (although I don't update it much).  I am crazy about sewing, photography, reading, and am learning hooping tricks. My favorite colors are bright greens, blues, and chocolate browns.  I think Dr. Horrible is the funniest thing I've seen all year and I'm currently reading "What Marie Antoinette Wore to the Revolution" (a historical biography specifically focusing on her clothing).  My favorite TV show is Project Runway (I also quite like the Canadian and Australian versions).  Well, that's me, so what do I want?

Crafted Items:

-handmade jewelery, specifically a pretty necklace or wrist cuff.  esp. a resin pendant necklace or anything with sparkly glass beads Thank you so much, UntouchableFace!!
-A cute Apron
-a knit scarf in earthy colors, I'd love an argyle pattern
-Knit socks.  I've never had a pair of hand knit socks and would love, love, love some!
-anything that pays tribute to Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog.
Thank you, DeviSaya, i can't wait to see what you create!
-Steampunk inspired accessory, or anything neo-victorian
-I have a twin brother who I'm very close to, so something that celebrates twin-ness would be awesome (I don't know, a cross stitch saying? painting? t-shirt?)
- Some pretty book thongs so I won't have to use old bus transfers or receipts to mark my place.

Supplies:
-electrical tape in pretty colors for my hoops
-big buttons
-fat quarters with bold patterns
-any Argyle fabric
-Sharpies

Extras-
I've been collecting photography related items to decorate one of the rooms in my house, so I'm always looking for vintage cameras, darkroom equipment, flashes, filters, slides, whatever you might find in a thrift store...

Or, of course,
Surprise me

I hope my lack of specifics won't make it too difficult, I swear I'm easy to please.  It's the thought that counts!
Thanks, and Happy Birthday all you fellow Sept. Babies!

I've updated feedback for those that sent out their items and already been received. If you think you should have feedback already look at the first page and see what I don't have updated.
