It is a bit difficult to decide what catergory my work should go in. Technically, it's crazy quilting, I would call it fibre art, but it seemed to best fit here...

This is a book sleeve I made to cover a memory book for my step daughters 21st

Wow, gorgeous work, she will love it.
I am planning on covering the scrapbooks I am making for the kids to have eventually.  its such a great idea. I cover exercise books all the time for gifts. I also cover plastic sleeve booklets for the kids to put in their artwork.
I think it personalizes them to be so special.
well done

Wow. That is absolutely beautiful. If your step daughter does not love that she is crazy.  Grin

And I have a question for you. Over to the left of the white ribbon roses, there is a very thin white zigzag design with pink beads directly to the left of it. Is that lace or embroidery? If it is embroidery, what is the stitch?

Actually, if you have time, I would really love it if you could list the stitches you used for this piece!

This rocks, btw!

It is absolutely stunning! Beautiful composition. I too would like to see a list of stitches used, if it wouldn't be too much trouble. I recognize several, but not all. It's really a great gift to be treasured forever!
