Holy geeze... I love this.

My boyfriend and I are having a smallll wedding in April.  He's British, I'm American, and we're doing it here since I have members of my family who can't travel.  (Unfortunately, none of his can make it either, so we're going to have a party in London.)  Anyhow, I was wanting to send something (an announcement or whatever) to his relatives in the UK and Spain, and this is exactly what I was looking for!

If it's alright, I'd like to maybe borrow your idea and alter it for my own purposes!

BereaSteph, run with it! Like I mentioned, I didn't come up with the idea of using passports as invites, this was just my take on it. Congrats on the wedding!

I am absolutly floored at your take on the passport save the dates. I really would like to make them for my wedding in Mexico next May. However, I wanted to know if you would be willing to help me. My first question is did you have a template for this? My second question is where did you buy the paper you used and what type was it. I just simply can not even consider sending a different save-the -date after experiencing your fabulous design. Please help me I am not that great with lining up printing on computers and I am just amazed.

Thank you,
Mandee

mandeed81, I didn't use a template, however as I mentioned I used Avery DesignPro (free!), which makes it really easy to line up printing and make your printed project look just like you want it to.
I used three types of paper-- darker blue cardstock for the cover, patterned scrapbooking paper for the inside of the cover, and light blue cardstock for the middle pages. I bought all three at A.C. Moore, but any scrapbooking or crafts store would have appropriate paper.
Good luck, and congrats on your engagement!
