Hi- I was wondering how you designed these (program) and how you got them printed?

Wow, thank you everyone for the kind words and congrats! I can't take credit for the passport idea, since I took inspiration from a few other versions of the passport invite out there in the internet.
LizardKirk, you guessed it! If all goes well I will be making up mock boarding passes for my actual invites (again, inspired by others on the net). I've already found the perfect glossy cardstock for them and will have access to a color laserjet. Huzzah!
The little destination wedding works out perfectly for me, because I don't have to worry about most of the logistics (seating, decor, etc.) and get to spend time crafting a few details like these.
imforhim04, I actually printed everything on my home printer with a little finagling of the paper/cardstock. In terms of software I used Serif PhotoPlus to work with the graphics, then did the layout and printing using Avery's DesignPro software. DesignPro was GREAT for this project and so user-friendly. And it's FREE (as is photoplus). Then, a little paper-cutter and glue action, and that's it!

Great idea....

Would you be willing to do a tutorial on how you made the luggage tags?  I would love to make some of those. Trying to find your luggage in the midst of the 100's of black bags is such a pain in the butt.

mhills, they were really easy--I made them from this tutorial with very minor adjustments: http://thelongestyear.typepad.com/my_weblog/2007/06/quickie_luggage.html
I put clear vinyl on the one side (and sewed through it on three sides when sewing the tag border) to make a pocket for the magnets/address cards. Let me know if you need any help!
