Wow, that's some package!!
I did send my package yesterday and PM'd Michelleames. I'm not sure if she got it as I don't have a (sent) after my name. So don't worry Almostexact your package is on its way. I'm very nervous about it because I received my exquisite sewing kit today.
It's beautiful!!

How gorgeous is that? I adore the tortoise material.

Thank you so much Almostexact!

That fabric is super cute but my favorite part is the floss holder! I've been designing The Ultimate Sewing Kit in my head for weeks now and I think I have to add something like that now. Wink

Me too! I couldn't cram all my ideas onto one kit in the time period we had, so I'm going to have to make notes on the ones you guys make. I love the floss holder and the safety pin holder (well, and everything else, too, but those are awesome ideas!).

I'm glad everyone likes the kit I made  Smiley The tortoise fabric is from a Japanese Fabric shop called NuNu Plus (they have an eBay shop). I'm really glad ErinyWeriny liked it too!

Here is the AMAZING kit I recieved today from ErinyWeriny, that, when I opened it I exclaimed with absolute joy!:

A beautiful card, featuring a lovely Owl:

And then, on to the kit:

And a closer look at the little fellow:

Isn't he just adorable?!

And inside the kit:

Check out all the threads - perfect for all my mending needs!

Plus! There is another little guy to look at:

I love this SO much! Everything about this kit is very me - I cant believe how Erin nailed my tastes so well  Grin

I love the fact this kit is like a little 'file' and the zipper goes all round the outside, meaning things can't fall out when I'm out and about and there is some space to keep small projects inside when I'm on the move.

Just amazing!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

You can never have too much fabric, too many beads or too many owls.

Currently loving pygmy hedgehogs!

I arrived home from work to a huge package from itsinmynature on my dining room table.. weeeee.. it's like Christmas (or maybe Easter cause I got a basket!).  A sewing basket, all done up in my favorite colors.. with lots of fun stuff inside.

My cool sewing basket, full of sewing tools and buttons, sequins, elastic, trims... even craft glue!

Pretty trim around the edge..

Buttons!

Wrist Pincusion

Thanks Jennifer.. I'm going to enjoy my sewing kit for a long time.

Bonny, I'm so glad you liked it!  Grin I tried to make it really colourful as I thought you would like that. I knew I couldn't go wrong featuring an owl. Happy Sewing!!

I spent most of last night sewing away with my kit. Its fab.

All the pics of the different kits I've seen so far have been great. It's wonderful how from a simple description like a sewing kit so many wonderful ideas get made with no two being remotely alike.
