You should take your dog to the vet and give him the bill. I would call the animal control officers and make a report also. This is 100% UNACCEPTABLE  behavior and the owner should be accountable!!!

bsonlytoots - Virgule has the same eating problem as Zoe. She'll eat the food, then she'll stop and we have to switch foods... Now she's on Cesar, the one with the broth and the Beneful moist thing (that indeed smells like human food). I think my dad even tasted it!  Cheesy Sometimes when I go to my parents' I boil her some lean ground beef and add white rice. My mom spoils her though, that may be why she doesn't want to eat her food...

fleur - LOVE the antlers pic!!

Ursula - I hope Carmen is ok!

I'm glad she's not the only one ... She loves then beneful too! It's the only one I can throw back in the cycle every couple weeks!

Thanks for all the ideas.  One day back on Royal Canine and her system is back to normal.  seems the breeder who bred Maggie started them on Royal Canine as soon as they were weaned.   Royal Canine is one of the only foods with Breed Specific Mixes.  Vet took a look at Maggie and has said she is definitely NOT an American German Shepard, she is definitely the pup of two German Bred German Shepards.  The German Bred variety are much larger than your standard American Bred.  The German Bred normally are only purchased for Training as Police or Military Applications.  At 9 months of age Maggie already measures larger in height than an American bred male  most american males measure between 24 and 26 inches.  They are telling us to expect her to reach 125-130 pounds by 18 months old.  She will definitely not be a lap dog.

Right now our almost two year old is trying to ride her like a horse.

Kaptain is big too, he already out weighs me at 115 lol.  From floor to his shoulder he is 25 inches, and he's only 1 year and 7 months.  He was born at 12:04 a.m. on January 1st.  Grin
