Ok, back to dog food  My baby is allergic to kibble-it makes him break out in hives. We feed him raw food, which seems disgusting at first, but you get used to it. The raw food is more nutritous than cooked meat, especially since dogs can eat raw bones, just no cooked bones. Now, his ears are healthier (less infection), he never needs a teeth cleaning, his poo is easier to clean up because it decomposes faster, and he doesn't get fleas. He also doesn't break out in hives anymore.

My Rudy is a pittie, too, and I know how sweet they can be... YAY nymphetominechika, you have a boy pittie too!

So, mopped the floors yesterday.  And then it rained.  Again.  That's the second time its happened this week.  I'm seriously thinking about putting diapers on the boys until it stops raining.     Sigh.

re: dog cooking with garlic.. little amounts of garlic are o.k. but man does it ever give my dogs bad breath.. like horrible breath hahaha.. when i cook for them it's usually white rice and meat

my beagle just got bit in the face like 15 mins ago thankfully she's fine! there's this weird dude who is ALWAYS (i mean always like 4am or noon or 5pm) sitting outside on his stoop and his dog just bit Carmen's face! Without being provoked too! Even left one small puncture wounds.. so lame! It makes me sooooooooo mad when people don't train their dogs at even the most basic level..

bsonlytoots - Virgule has the same eating problem as Zoe. She'll eat the food, then she'll stop and we have to switch foods... Now she's on Cesar, the one with the broth and the Beneful moist thing (that indeed smells like human food). I think my dad even tasted it!  Sometimes when I go to my parents' I boil her some lean ground beef and add white rice. My mom spoils her though, that may be why she doesn't want to eat her food...
